Biryani Curry

The Biryiani Curry

The biryani Curry is a popular Indian dish that originates from Iran, which was formerly Persia. The name biryani is derived from the Persian word that meant fried or roasted. The biryani curry is a meal in it’s self as it is cooked and served with rice so no need for a  separate rice dish.  Of course Naan bread goes perfectly with the biryani curry like the popular peshwari or garlic naan or chapatis.

The biryani curry is cooked in ghee (clarified butter) with a selection of Indian spices and herbs. Served with a mixed vegetable sauce.
